New Media is old hat at CMA. Evolving
from our origins in music and sound design, CMA increasingly applies its
imaginative gifts and technical expertise to a wide range of new media platforms:
installed kiosks that instruct and entertain; critically acclaimed CD-ROMS
that break new ground in uniting image word and sound.
ScruTiny in the Great Round
ScruTiny in the Great Round is an interactive work of art on Mac and Windows
CD-ROM, published by Calliope Media and distributed by Maxis.

This is the first disk to show that the CD-ROM medium is capable of subtlety and delicacy." --Jaron Lanier, composer and Virtual Reality pioneer "Gothic spiritual interactive art...in a market crowded with mindlessless, a title mindful of thought." --Newsweek "Composer Charlie Morrow deserves special mention for contributing penetrating, deeply resonant sounds that add their own challenging messages to the work." --CD-ROM Today More about this CD-ROM at the websites of ScruTiny Associates and Calliope. Other interactive projects @ CMACharles Morrow Associates has been involved in an increasing number of interactive projects, stemming out of a long time dedication to the exploration of new media.
